In a significant step towards harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for sustainable development, Borno State, represented by the Borno State Information and Communication Technology Agency (BICTDA), successfully presented a memo to the National Council for Communication, Innovation, and Digital Economy in Makurdi.

The memo, presented by Engr Mohammed Kabir Wanori FNSE, Executive Secretary of BICTDA, highlighted the potential of AI-driven solutions to transform critical sectors such as agriculture, education, security, and healthcare delivery in Borno State.

The National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy (NDEPS) aims to reposition Nigeria's economy to take advantage of digital technologies, focusing on key areas including digital infrastructure, digital literacy, and digital entrepreneurship.

The National Council for Communication, Innovation, and Digital Economy plays a crucial role in shaping Nigeria's digital economy, and the Council's annual meeting provides a platform for stakeholders to discuss and shape the country's digital transformation agenda.
