GOVERNOR ZULUM COMMISSIONED DIGITAL LITERACY CENTERS IN MOBBAR, GUBIO, AND MAGUMERI LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREAS.

In another unprecedented milestone, Yesterday, 26th May, 2024, Prof.Babagana Umara Zulum CON mni FNSE FNIAE, commissioned digital literacy centers of Mobbar, Gubio, and Magumeri, a significant development in the state's digital journey. The Executive Secretary of Borno State Information and Communication Technology Development Agency (BICTDA) Engr. Mohammed Ahmed Kabir wanori FNSE and his team had already set up the centers, arriving two days prior to the Governor's visit.
The Governor inaugurated the state-of-the-art centers, demonstrating the government's commitment to enhancing digital literacy and empowering citizens. The Executive Secretary of BICTDA expressed gratitude to the Governor for entrusting them with the project, which they successfully completed. The team's dedication and expertise have resulted in the establishment of modern digital literacy centers, poised to benefit the communities in the three local governments.
During the commissioning ceremony, the Governor announces to the students from the three local governments that those who excel with good grades shall be given automatic employment into the Borno State civil service. This initiative aims to encourage and motivate young people to develop their digital skills and contribute to the state's progress. Furthermore, the Governor directed the BICTDA boss to expand the capacity of the ICT centers, leveraging the available space to add more computers and learning tools.
