BITCDA assessed the Digital Literacy Centers in Gubio and Magumeri in preparation for their official commissioning.
The Executive Secretary of the Borno State Information and Communication Technology Development Agency (BITCDA) and his team conducted an assessment visit today, 14th May 2024 to two state-of-the-art digital literacy centers in Gubio and Magumeri Local Government Areas, in preparation for their official commissioning. These centers are equipped with cutting-edge ICT facilities, including computers, high-speed internet connectivity, and interactive learning tools. The establishment of these centers underscores the commitment of the Borno state government to bridging the digital divide and empowering rural communities with the tools and knowledge necessary to participate in the global digital economy. The Executive Governor of Borno State, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum CON Mni, FNSE, is expected to commission these two centers very soon.
